“KAMRAN”

Blessed or Fortunate
Prosperous too
His name in Persian
Seemly its true
A great handsome Lion
The Iranian King
The jungle resounds
His roar it does bring
Thunder bolts crashing
Down from the sky
That has shattered the spirits
And that is no lie

Now he is holed up
In a rusty old cage
He sits by himself
With an internal rage
Thats strikes at the heart
His freedom no more
An ungodly feel
Violating his spirit
Which is very real

What is he guilty of
Why is he left
Alone on is own
Really bereft
Chastised in a way
What has he done
He needs absolution
And bis place in the sun

Why the transgression
IRAN tell me why
He is no felon
He is a good guy
It is just wrongful
To feel that he’s sad
His tears come in streams
He is sore and is mad
Abandoned and left
With his torment of tears
A broken heart over so many years

An inner roar
Most cant hear anymore
No justice at all
Its unfitting to call
Your iniquitous doing
With so many wooing
His sadness and pain
And his mortal refrain

I beg you to free him
To just let him go
Back to his space
To roar and to show
His Iranian love
For the jungle and sound
And The protection he gives
To the others around.
