Riverford Organic

Essential to our planet
Farmers now who are
Bound by their love
For the soil and who star
In their own wild productions
The love and the care
Who respect every being
That happens to be there

They are playing a part
In the fusion and wealh
Every bug every bird
And the seasons
Bring health
To the farm out beyond
And under the sky
Where the soil
Is as rich
And as balanced
And why

So that genuine produce
And wonderful seed
And the life force of angels
Imagined indeed
A tangible test
To the rigours we see
To the climate emboldened
The shrub and the tree
The want and the struggle
The inherency
In balance and beautiful
For all to see

Organically grown
And certified too
The gods and inspectorates
They know each clue
Is manifest fairly
At Riverford where
Every soul in the business
Really does care

Take Robert my driver
Who comes and his smile
It is infectious
And for the while
He stays with my boxes
And his true refrain
A gentleman surely
A link in the chain

The standards are excellent
The flavours sublime
Quality growing
Right down the line
Its been a hard year
With the goings on
Yet you showed me you cared
When others have gone

Creative in many ways
With each true innovation
Your handouts the recycling
Its the salvation
Going the whole mile and then
Some more
And caring and sharing
At my front door

An eminence truly
At the pinnacle you
Work with the seasons
Champions who
Transcend so many
The wholeness supreme
Brimming with freshness
Thanks to the whole team

Thanks be To Guy
Who when Inhad a shop
And won the Queens Award
For my organic crop
The great little Cooks Delight
Organic too and Bio Dynamic
Then you were true

And inspirational
Helping me strive
Working in harmony
Just to survive
With like minds
Whose ethic was pure
As could be
Up against many more
Who were not tragically

So you managed to keep
Up the good work and still
Deliver great crops
With great heart and much will
Employing great people
Enthused by it all
Riverfood really
You are on the ball

I do hope Young Robert
Is appreciated, he
Is your front man
The guy we see
One in a million
Thats if you ask me
On Wednesday the one driver
I love to see

Thank you all of you at Riverford

We appreciate your hardwork and your endeavour
