Brokenleg

Abandoned by a lampost
In Canterbury
They found
A lurcher looking the worse for wear
Not making a sound
But surely he was suffering
A broken leg poor soul
Left there by some bastards
Who was out of control

The loyalty of animals
Rewarded by the man
Who obviously had tied him
And then had bloody ran
Away leaving the animals
Suffering for he
Had a broken leg in fact
And was suffering seriously

No chip and so
Nobody knows
Who owns this sweet boy
But now he has been rescued
And At least can now enjoy

Sone hours without the pain
And treatment to ensure
He safely gets back on his feet
And Nobody will ignore
As to who would do such a thing
A heartless knave for sure
Who hopefully will have ANUBIS
waiting outside his door
