Wild herbs and grasses

The indigenous tribes of the America’s
Use wild grasses that grow
That have the protective aura
And their wildness that they throw
When burning their healing bath of smoke
The combinations do
Affect the body and the ritual space
And soulfully imbue
The spirit and the aura
And the energy Around
Each of the wild grasses
Through History they found
Had properties that protected
That purified and healed
Whereas cultural appropriation
Has recently revealed

A tendency thats negative
It’s wildness given power
And retail chain stores
Aiming to pick more and more each hour
Threatens The native magic
Over harvesting is wrong
The wild organic energy
Is where these herbs belong

Sage and lavender and Rosemary
Possess their true veracity
Unpretentious and unaffected
A real embrace of sanctity
Together they corroborate
A positiveness abroad
And burning them together
Comes with sweet accord

Significant and meaningful
Inventive creativity
Inspiration and peacefulness
And of course tranquillity
Imagery and rhapsodical invention
Seemingly
The combinations in the smoke
Improve the equilibrium
And intelligibility.
