The greatest organ any creature
Possesses
its their skin
Gifted By their maker hair and fur
And wool
And Mankind Takes advantage
The animals we abuse
Sometimes ripping it off their bodies
That is how we choose
As a method of killing
It’s a cheaper process we
Know what’s happening and turn away
The deaths don’t want to see
For Its always about profit
With No thought of the animals pain
So much torture and so much suffering
And it drives many insane
Our cuffs collars and trimming
From trapped coyotes
Who
Suffer in those leg hold traps
Again it’s what they do
For Bags and Toys and assorted wraps
And very few are thinking
Most don’t even care
But our brigade were constant
Every weekend we were there
Oceans of people passing by
Loud speakers all the day
With lots of detailed posters
We made a great display
And one of our valiant warriors
A Lady from Dublin, she
Came all the way to be with us
She wanted to you see
Outside Harvey Nichol
In Knightsbridge
In the front
Barking, giving out pamphlets
Holding posters Every punt
To Hundreds and hundreds of people
Some arguing the toss
Others very interested
And Some wearing fur got cross
But we are there to inform Them
And try to help them see
The agony that is the fur trade
And it doesn’t have to be
That ladies name was Tiziana
Her ethicality
Holding one end of the banner
It was graphic and all could see
The terror and all the abuse
In China and elsewhere
Its really very tiring
To help the public feel aware
But she was a quiet warrior
Single heartedly
virtuous and honest
With so much integrity
It’s true all of the ladies
Were exceptional each day
and the brigade so purposeful
Gave so much of ourselves Away.
We were out there in all weathers
From 10 am to five
Giving it some welly
and we did survive
For months before injunctions
Which clearly proves that we
Had made a lot of difference
With candour and purity.
Thanks Tiziana
I shall never forget your sacrifice
Your hard work and your
Finer feeling And personal honour
