Braggarts

Another braggart
In raptures because
He can lie in ambush
And of course push
His agenda disguised
A false narrative, he
Can kill bloody armies
Of wildness and free

That rush of adrenaline
Actually he
Shits himself twice
Goose pimples we see
Shrivelled with fear
His balls how they be
When the elephants turns
On him
Then it is clear
His hair stands on end
And He stiffens with fear
Murder you see
Brings the hunter such joy
If the elephant reached him
He would be like a toy
Thrusts through the air
And hug up on a tree
To bleed out and die
Insignificantly.

With his great big rifle
In a clearing he sees
A beautiful pachyderm
head in the trees
Fires once and watches
the grumbling foe
Who FallS on his knees
with no where to go
Get a bit closer
and fire again
And again and again.
Soon it is plain
The elephants fallen
The elephants dead
The bullets tore into him
Into his head

The hunters were shaking
They do all say they
Feel the demons possessing Them
Now as he lay
Apparently peaceful
Apparently dead
A beautiful corpse
With holes in his head

On this planet why
Do the angels fall
AFFICA shudders
With hunters on call
After their trophies
To import back home
And hang in the death rooms
And write up the tome
Braggarts in name
Who lie in their sleep
How big how they charged
Hunters will reap

all the diseases
The most painful they
Can then sit and wait
For their own dying day
And one hopes that karma
Will come back to call
And their death will be slow
And painful that’s all.
