Moody vegan

The 3rd of May
Was the actual day
When you saw the light
And found the way
Forward into light and glory
No more dead flesh
In your story

Vegan meals
And a vegan life
Clothes and no more
Actual strife
Not in your world anymore
For love and care
For them be sure

Lots of whole foods
Ethically
Judged what I choose
And we
All must understand the need
That animals have
And we should lead

Others down the path to where
No animal not anywhere
Is harmed or hurt
Because we choose
to eat and drink
And sing their blues

It’s all about them in all you do
Entertainment and clothes be true
To all the animals big and small
Very tiny and of course tall
Campaign widely at the front line
Sign the petitions even wine
Should be vegan there’s plenty now
An ethical vegan learns
The knowhow

To leave and care for souls out there
And, to wholly be aware
Of labelling lies
Of the meat trade
And of course of dairy
On them is laid

Terrible torture
Day in day out
Bulls and cows and calves
No doubt
at all
They suffer inordinate pain
So that you are vegan
You form a chain

Of caring warriors everywhere
