Aquilegia

A native flower
whose beauty
Empowers  the poet  who
sees its form
and fears the storm
but knows its
able to
cope with Summers  breezes
rocking is its way
for  it’s beauty’ is  in its form
how its spreading petals play

five nectaries  with a downwards spur
And little bells  that ring
Doves and Eagles eagerly
their  attractiveness they bring.

five
nectaries
with a wondrous store
Call Butterflies and Bee’s
Grannies bonnets it’s been called
and surely It did please

hence  the name  Columbine
or Aqualegia  they
And whether  Doves  or Eagles
it encourages me to say

It embraces all thats
magickal
and so attracts the Fae
who in the  peacefulness
of summer
often come to play

each diminutive performance
excites the very soul
untouched  and  all-e mbracing
and in complete control

RULED BY VENUS
FEMININE
 Courage
to attract LOVE
