She’s all for the animals
That fills her day
Protecting their habitat
With much to say
The greatest CV
Audacious and strong
Making their argument.
And Saying how wrong
The zoo’s and the circuses
And the caged up are
The petting zoo’s
aquaria and theme parks
So far
Off what is proper
She’s on their case
A remarkable member
Of the human race.

Heidi-bear Howe
Does her level best
The vanquished the tortured
She does invest
So much of her free time
To doing what’s right
By our animal friends
And it is quite a fight

She is greatly admired
At the end of the day
And suffers as they do
She just will not play
Ball with the rotters
And let them get by
She fights for the animals
And does apply

All of her fervour
All of her care
Signs the petitions
Of those she’s aware
Nothing is too much for dear Heidi bear
She gets my medal
For just being there
