Angst-ridden

Indisposed and writhing
Angst ridden so to say
And a grown man and a women
Their total weight
Does play
Down hard on a beautiful horse
Lying on its side
infelicitous and despairing
Which this couple have denied

An audience of morons
Families who don’t see
The suffering and the heartache
Will he again be free
Of what is total torment
In front of a whole crowd
Who laugh and clap and
Sadden
In a setting that is loud

Mexico is watching
Dancing as it’s called
Imagining the agony
And disappointingly hauled
First the women then the man
Joins and dances too
The disrespect and the joylessness
Regrettably It’s true

Terrible exasperation
With the crowd supposedly
Radiant and cheerful
But to what real degree
They must be dead from the neck up
Refusing now to see
A horse that’s clearly
Crying out and is ignored
And tragically

It’s hideous to imagine
How odious this is
And that families can be so graceless
The horse is in a tiz
Suffering such upset
Uncomfortable for sure
A beautiful innocent animal
Being tortured on the floor

This couple should be pulled off
A vet be called to see
And examine the poor horse
And forever let him be
Rescued from such violence
And these two dancers
Thrown in jail
Butt ugly nasty individuals
Who are beyond the pale
