This is the second one
Of the new series
A chat with the wild ones
Light hearted and true
Rosemary grows
Just outside my window
And sharing the magic
As it is,it’s want to do
All the plants, trees and animals
Know that
I sit and write poetry
Most of the day
And read them aloud
And many enjoy it
and that why they come
To my garden each
day
Rosemary it is a wondrous
Old soul
Sometimes called ELF LEAF
As elves love it so
It’s gender is masculine
Ruled by the sun
It’s element fire
Protection is won
By growing it dears
Close To your front door
It drives away burglars
It’s magick for sure
Powder some leaves
In a linen flap
Bind to your right arm
In a kind of wrap
The magic forthcoming
From it’s gentle spell
Is to banish depression
So I hear tell
Rosemary water
Cleanses crystals
And tools
It quickens the
senses
And memory pools
Soaked in distilled water
It tonifies
Its gentle aroma
Truly it flies
In the face of our beauty
And such fine properties
Gentle and calming
Which everyone sees
To study more avidly
What you must do
Is burn some on charcoal
And breathe what comes through
It encourages learning
And healing work too
It is powerful magic
And So good for you
Rosemarinus Officianalis
Or mist by the sea
The light coloured lilac flowers
In April they be
Decorate agar
Or salads where they
Give a lightness and gentleness
In their colourful way
When burned as a incense
It just purifies
Cleansing vibrations
There in there lies
Power to the ailing
A bunch in ones bed
Under the pillow
The minds eyes are fed
Not a nightmare dare cometh
Good sleep assured
Nice in a bath
And a lasting reward.
A hair wreath when
Hand fasting
An offering to
Venus the Roman Goddess
Who
is
The protectress
The carer
The one
Who uses her magick
And the power of the sun
It’s a very bright day
The light really clear
Trees are in blossom
Remember my dear
Apple and cherry
Both blossoms can be
Used in your salads.
And of course they are free
So much true wildness
Grows All around
Wanting to nurture
From My poems I found
They welcome a harvest
Sharing magic the earth
Not cursed as a nuisance
Without any worth
The Rosebay Willow Herb
It’s abundance is great
For respiratory problems
It’s something to state
Also for the prostate
A regular date
Cooked with some broccoli
It’s similar to
Asparagus really
and again good for you
It’s also called fireweed
You see it around
on the roadsides
On railway embankments it’s found
It’s cleaner in gardens
Where it likes to grow
For the kidneys and the bladder
A tonic you know
B Cmplex A and C
Phosphorus too
and it will not cost anything
All you have to do
Is pull it up wash it
And cook it and share
Though the stems
Can be laxative
So be aware
And as it is Spring
And fresh leaves are about
The apple the cherry
The linden no doubt
The hawtHorn its leaves
Are nutritious and do
Thrown into a salad
Bring something that’s new
The plants love to please
They are fresh where they grow
No processing only gods gift
And you know
they
Share your vibrations
and come as your need
Thus so many benefits
There are indeed.
