The Toones

The Toones I loved to hear and see
A couple of Druids wild and free
Dedicated and pure of thoughts
A phenomenal couple and brilliant sports
Easy to love easy to know
When they decided to up and go
I missed them really missed them so
Now who are the Toones
A melodic pair
Willing and helpful
And always there

Always a smile
Contagiously
They rocked my dial
Continually
I hear you are under the weather
The stress
And strain of it all
I have to confess

It can drag us down
But the mirror is where
The smile can come back
When we see ourselves there
You do have each other
That safety valve
That divine notion
Is a healing salve

I do love you two
I saw dedication
Wherever you went.whatever location
Both wearing smiles
Backed up by joy
And very few wrinkles
That deigned to annoy

Times now are rough
I don’t have to be
Any great genius do I to see
But we are tHe druids
We are the one
We have the knowledge
Our moon and our son
And the stars and the planets
And the ancestral sphere
Our belief and philosophy
Conquers the fear

I shall be thinking daily of you
It’s not that I forgot
And when I do
I smile to myself because
I envy you
That love you both have
For each other is true

And it shines from you
Like a great halo of light
An aura of love
From a very great height
You are the epitome of a great pair
and I’m eternally grateful
That you are out there.
