Greyhounds in SPAIN

Malingering and disrespectful
Greyhound owners here
Spain has got its knickers in a great big twist
The fear
They have forever losing
It calls in question not every dog can win
Those that fail are tortured and hung out to dry
And in reality SPAIN that is a sin

Neglect that’s wilful
Abuse that evil they
Fight to win their races
Look at their poor sad faces
But when they don’t
It’s the dogs that get to pay
Food and water crap
That is for certain
And the government sits on to hands
And they
Watch dog after dog hanging in a tree
Murdered because they are losing
Come what may

Indiscipline and incompetence
From owners
Disloyalty and treachery alas
Ignore their obligations
To their charges
Slackers and deserters
It’s all crass

The government
Says it prefers to look the other way
And doesn’t believe the openers are just cruel
That’s because they are the scorn it is by far
As bad as anything happening today
Irreverence and dishonour ever you which way
The dogs not fed and looked after as they should
Because they run like lame ducks in a circus
and their legs and wings are as if they are made of wood
