Wolf moon

Packs of hungry wolves
At midwinter tend to be
Howling at the moon it’s said
And that is why we see
The first full moon
Of this new year
Called after their lament
This a penembral Lunar eclipse
Where the moon is sent

Into the earths shadow
Making it darker still
the WOLF MOON as it now is known
Comes with its familiar chill
The vital energy of the earth
Is ours if we can try
And absorb its wondrous magick
Held heavy in the sky
