My plastic outfit

Oil based hues of sky
And sea and ocean really too
A masterful rejection
Of everything that’s true
Plastic bags are everywhere
Smutty corrupt sleaze
Killing the cetacean hordes
And the birds up in the trees

Everywhere we look these days
The human beings throw
Their beaches and their rivers
And their highways
It does show
The filth within their bodies
Their blood their sinew too
Plastic in their water in their food
Yes Inside YOU

Every single mouthful
Of fish of meat of bread
Every gulp of bottled water
What’s in there instead
Of what YOU think is in there
Plastic oil based crap
They have made a cross for their own backs
And You see it’s wrap

You see my sky blue overall
Picked up off the rocks
Blowing in the evening wind
Chunks and sheets and blocks
Of plastic oil based plastic
It now is everywhere
Man is not kind man is just blind
Man is unaware.
