Victims MONGOLIA

Ulan Bator a city
Of many
Suffering terribly
Nowadays alas
Due to the climate
Which is really changing
They move from the steppes
To the city en masse

Burning raw coal
For its cold in the winter
Pollution is rife
And the children they know
They suffer it’s tougher
Breathing is terrible
Everyone’s feeling it
As toxins do grow

On the steppes
All those pastoral people
Are suffering too
No snow in winter
What do they do
This landlocked country
Is stressing because
The climate has changed
The animals they
Are dying by The Spring
Grass is eaten away

The snow it protects
But without it we see
Grass eaten up
The countryside free
Herders are leaving
To the city they go
Burning raw coal
Watching pollution grow

They can’t afford filters
Nor smokeless coal they
Are suffering terribly
Their health does pay
Cancers are rising
Lungs under stress
The people aware
That they are in a mess

They are the victims
Of the west’s decline
The fracking attacking
The coal down the line
BIG PHARMA it’s pesticides
Killing the Bee’s
The birds and the insects
As more and more wheeze
Bronchitis is increasing
Asthma is too
We are poisoning our planet
It’s toxic all through
The poor they are suffering
Now terribly
So many victims
No one wants to see

Or hear the choking
The adversity
The hardship the struggles
What is misery
The great visitation
Of gases abroad
The toxic infliction
We cannot afford

The oceans are filled
Up with plastics galore
Landfills are bursting
They cannot take more
Oil slicks and gas flares
Are now everywhere
The West is declining
They don’t really care
They live in their mansions
They frack to the sky
And the people in the mountains
In Mongolia die

Nuclear waste it’s a sickening
Mass
Under the ocean or down some crevasse
For thousands of years
Is now has to stay
The earth is now crying
And so many pray
In this lifetime
We slaughter and desperately we
Are creating more victims
Unfortunately.
