Interlocking loops of yarn
Strings and even thread
With a crochet hook
Its is patience led
It Needs concentration
Design sense and form
Unwavering ability
And I do just warm
To the spirit of those
Who can crochet away
Produce lovely beings
Like toys
Hats away
With Machines
So robotic
When its possible to find
Beautiful crochet
On the web
That just expands our mind

The single-mindedness
Developed and shown
The steadfastness
All of this is grown
Out of an intellect
Out of a mind
Constant and unceasing
Which helps to unwind

And the skill and dexterity
It blows me away
To have that capacity
And everyday
Art and the artistry
And expertise
To crochet infact
Leaves me weak at the knees

I be a poet
Simple I feel
Able to write down
Things that Are real
So converting some yarn
With such dexterity
Into a thing of beauty
