Newgrange

The flying brain with the new age eye
A drone of sorts
That looks from high
Anthony Murphy apparently
Helped by his drone
Helped him to see

The current heat wave
And lack of rain
Allowed a form to peer
Again
Out of the veld
Its perspective sort
And from above
A henge was caught

A sacred landscape
All aglow
A prehistoric ritual flow
Obscured in time by depth
From where
This present scorched earth
We now share

An eye of heaven
Possibly so
A celestial thought
From down below
Perhaps a sun god
Thought it through
And the Boyne Valley
Somehow knew

So many sights
seen from the stars
History delightfully
Gives up its secrets
One by one
Displaying them
Under the sun
