They really should do their research
And realise the threat
The lies told by the meat trade
Clearly they have been set
Up by those who wish to increase
The likelihood of sales
Of wild kangaroos murdered
In the outback which now pales

Into what is torture
And total disregard
For the killing under spot lights
Making it very hard
To inspect the kills and butchering
And what we now do see
Females with their joeys
Murdered actually

Desperate to sell exotic meats
To make a killing they
Apparently sold the kangaroo to LIDL
Who did play
Into the hands of these butchers
And e coli and the rest
And the flesh which is containing
L Carnitine to test
Our bodies general healthiness
Especially the heart
Building fatty acids
Really from the start

They are a German supermarket discount chain
Who ought to be
More conversant with this bush meat trade
For honestly
It is an ugly dirty and upsetting killing spree
That happens in the dark of night
With utter villainy

I would add

Be slaughtered in this way
And butchered in the outback
A malevolent display

Females carrying young
With all the worst intentions

Cut up on the dusty trucks
Their innards thrown away

For me it is outrageousness
These animals they be
Wild and have been living
For millenia and free
They are not farmed
They live wild lives
Created just to be
Part of the equilibrium
Unlike cattle actually

Watching butchers butchery
Their malice and the pain
The joey thats a baby kanga
Wrenched out with disdain
Its head torn off
Or stomped upon
This a baby for christs sake
Seeing its mother murdered
For it is wide awake

And then the so called shooter
Murders the baby he
With all his in bred viciousness
Does this you can see
How much i feel such spitefulness
And the government agrees
These black hearted shooters
Can just do what they please

LIDL Needs to open up its eyes
And check this through
The terror in the kangaroo’s
Its not what we should do
Ethic has to permeate the so called disount scene
And not to believe the meat trade
Its not exotic it is MEAN

Empty words no wisdom here
Inane and trivial trite
Unaccountability
It just isnt right
Perhaps its wishful thinking
What I call sophistry
Hypocrisy and duplicity
And insincerity
