100 hives were stored at
Mike Hickenbottoms place
Belonging to Alfonzo Perez
It was their winter base
Leased to do the pollination
Of various Almond trees
But on a Saturday morning
Were vandalised and the bees
Around 200,000 were murdered
At a stroke
When deisel fuel was poured on them
And clearly thats no joke
The Sheriff now at Monterey
Is investigating he
Knows the neighbour
Was displeased that the hives
Had to be
So close to his family home
Where his children dare not play
For fear of being stung by bees
Thats what Mike did say
Russian Bees are friendlier
And varroa it appears
Do not affect the Russian Bees
As much and so the fears
That the neighbours children would be stung
Apparently isnt so
And the fact is Alfonzo Perez
Is in trouble as we know
The loss amounts to £50,000 dollars
Which is huge
And no one really understands the extent
Of subterfuge
What we can say is its terrible
To slaughter all these Bees
And it might be down to ignorance
And the loss to of the fees
Paid for leasing out his Bees
Together with the Bees
Is terrible for the keeper
And ofcourse the almond trees
Whoever carried out this crime
Lets hope they are soon caught
And go fund me has been set up
To try now to support
