SEKHMET

In Egyptian mythology
Sekhmet became
Daughter of Ra
A warrior flame
Her name meant the powerful one
And it is said
Her breath formed the deserts
Thats what we are led
To believe
She protected the pharophs
And in Luxor they have found
27 black granite statues
Around
Dug out of the mud
From 1200 BC
And looking as good
As they could ever be

She the goddess of healing
And fertility
Of fire and of war
So it does seem to me
She had loads of interests
And was clearly a rock
But she looked like a lioness
Not one of the flock
