I was saved

Barely breathing
Lost and broken
Her reward was left
By the roadside
Wondering why she was bereft
Of true and goodly empathy
Would should this baby be
Dumped beside a busy road
To die in agony

Where was the integrity?
The honour of the true
Reliable dependancy
Of being here with you
Sacrificed for profit
On the grass verge laid
Or probably thrown more like it
And along comes animal aid

Whose angels come to rescue
From wickedness and guilt
Saved an innocent baby
Whose soul was set to wilt
Who brought with them compassion
Remorse and compunction too
And took me to a sanctuary
To ayone for what some do
