Once upon a time, there was a beautiful soul. He cared so deeply, and so passionately, that he had to put all his love and passion into verse. He made us laugh, cry, puzzle and frown, but he made us think, he always, always made us think. He opened our eyes both to the atrocities that need our attention, but also to the beauty that can be seen if we love openly and honestly and trust each other. The beautiful soul sometimes cried out at the injustice’s in the world, but we cried back – we love you! We need you!. And the beautiful soul was comforted. For a while.
