Balloons in the sky guarantee we will die

A flexible bag
Inflated with gas
Tied with a ribbon or with string
A great mass
From Apple now floats
High in the sky
To deflate at some time
And then just to lie

Somewhere who knows where
On land or sea
Rubber or latex polychloroprene
That sounds tasty
Aluminized plastic
Imagine why
Cetaceans or turtles
Then might reply

On this as a food source
MIchael Faraday
Started it off
When he let them away
For climatic reasons
Fly off in the sky
Which started the habit
Of letting them fly

Imagine ingesting
This evil that floats
Not something that would genuinely
Rock any boats
And was bound to tangle
And block at a stroke
The stomach or intestines
Of the reptile folk

Back into history
Pig bladders were used
And cats intestines
Yes we abused
Animals really
Every which way
And now with the oil based
Crap we display

More total ignorance
To get our name
Out in the big wide world
But if the fame
Comes back to haunt us
With a vengeance we might
Realise truthfully it wasnt right

We are unravelling life as we know
With our genetic tinkering
And, as we grow
Even more arrogant
About our place
On the beautiful earth
How much of a disgrace

We actually are
