Unanticipated

Animatronics was one way
Of filming in the wild
Getting the best pictures
Close ups kind of dialled

Into the situation
Right up in their face
Getting the clearest pictures
The best around the place

But actually the extras
Were emotional for we
Could experience love and caring
And the purest empathy

A chimpanzee and a tortoise
The ape clearly admired
The tortoise taking it back with him
Clearly he got fired

Up when other apes were after
taking his pet away
Which goes to show that empathy
In a nushell won the day

A mind of revelation
Of candour Off the page
No one had expected this
It was hard to gauge
It just kind if unfolded
Right before our eyes
Totally unexpected
And so a big surprise
