Look at me looking at you

You lay there looking down on me
Imagining no doubt
That just by cosying up to me
You know what I am about

Imagining in your tiny mind
That you would like to be
In a pod of dolphins
Swimming next to me

But madam look around me
This scintillating mess
Of what is really squalid
Which chlorine doesnt redress

I am just a prisoner
In a corporate jail
Swimming in my excrement
A really sorry tale

Wondering what I am doing
Alone here everyday
Looking into your made up face
And trying to say

Do you think that I am happy
DO you think I think you care
Of this ruinous tank you keep me in
Which you are welcome to share

If only I could fly and soar
Out of this awful place
With a guarantee that where ere I go
I will never see your face
