The Chinese have this wish
To import elephants
And Zimbabwe is
The place apparently
They pay around some 40,000 dollars
For each one
And they can afford them easily
37 babies, it makes their mothers cry
Like any mother having a new baby
Stolen tell me why?
It would Bother her emotionally
But it’s not understood
The Africans or CITES
Grey suits without hearts
Tick the boxes
And bow and scrape
They are all a bunch of farts
Other elephants that went to China
Sone had died en route, for they
Were neglected they miss Africa
And their families
And they pay
As all their tenderness comes out
Their mother and their mentor
Is lost without a doubt
They will miss the herd and the
Normal food
They will hate the journey by
Aeroplane it’s madness
It’s about money that’s why
ZImbabwe thinks of profits
CHina’s rolling in cash
And so it makes complete sense
To give zoology a bash
But it leads to desperation
And no counsel of despair
No one out their speak their lingo
So it isn’t fair
It’s a hopeless situation
Such consternation there
Of course they will be frightened
For nobody does care
The mothers will be grieving
Fear of the unknown force
And the waiting souls in China
Do not know the course
They won’t have the understanding
That the mother had no way
And many become sickly
And die
So there is no way
That Africa should be so thick
it shouldn’t happen they
Are destroying families
Every single day
These elephant will pine
They will
They need their mothers so
And China really isn’t
The place where they should go
