Syria

The real story of war
Played out every single day
In Syria where sanctions
Are biting
The array
of course is truly awful
And propaganda steals
The honesty and empathy
That all of that conceals

Being out in Syria
Reporting as you do
And telling the real story
And all of it that’s true
I watched the delegation of Peace
And all they said
And will write for peace
And so support the cause
Now being led

And is up against the evil
The unfairness and the lies
Your courage and commitment
The silence of the wise
Being in the midst of it
Clearly all you do
Is represent the country
And it’s people good and true

Regime change is unwanted
It’s a nightmare for them all
Clearly their screams are being muffled
They are putting up a wall
Of falsity and propaganda
And really so much more
And all of it for certain
Is against International Law

And it’s carrying on regardless
Which the Americans do not know
That’s why the support is failing
But really it can grow
It has to for the good of man
And Of SYria who must
Stay strong and fight this battle
And cfeating much disgust

Clearly they are positive
For what we all can do
Is get these sanctions lifted
And realise what’s true
23 million people
SYrians all say
We do love our country
And should not be forced to pay

With our lives for regime change
It isn’t what we need
We will not be devided
For we really can succeed
We have universal health care
And education too
Free at the point of asking
That’s what Assad does do
He really loves his people
And they love him as well
It’s outside forces causing this
Sojourn into Hell

THankyou Vanessa Beeley
For all the work you do
Angels come in all shapes and sizes

Thank you also to
