Family. And the elephant baby story

Our greatest strength is the unit
We call family
Society has devided many and we
Find ourselves like lost souls
In a jungle of desire
Up against the slippery slopes
And the muddy pools so dire

Our youths splash in those puddles
The old fall down and feel
Lost because the family ties
Are broken which has cost
Society a great deal

It was orchestrated by
The corporate world of consumerism
And it weakens which is why
People do feel vulnerable
In this day and age
We could learn from the animals
And regard age as the sage

Experiencing the muddy slopes
And the high banks
They could guide
The youth today
Away from criminality
The slide

is apparent
As the baby ele
Found to his sad cost
Without grandmother on
his case
He would really have been lost

Lovely story of families in the elephant world
