The Matadors companions

Its absolutely contemptible
How bull fights now take place
How the bulls become victims
And just what vile disgrace
Occurs before its entrance
Into the killing ring
How they prepare the animal
The so called underling

Filing down its splendid horns
So Each is a different size
Which affects its balance
Which most don’t realise
Thats because they stain and polish
And varnish them
But of course they are often sore
And therefore very painful to use
Which we ignore

The spanish call this shaving
Its a wicked thing to do
Is cowardly and its most unfair
But tragically its true
They give them antipsychotic drugs
To lead them to a place
Of utter stupefaction
Which again is a disgrace

They drop sandbags on their kidney region
And smear their eyes with vaseline
Stick cotton up their nostrils
This business is obscene
Their feet are rubbed with turpentine
To make them very sore
It causes burns to happen
Preparing them for war

Often they come in head down
Their muscles cut so they
Are doctored and then dealt with
They are made to pay
And then the vilest onslaught
From the nasty picador
Who stabs and who so weakens
Them again we do ignore

So enter the brave matador
In his silky tights
Prancing about like a peacock
As if he has all the rights
The poor bull has been worked over
Before he reached the ring
And only the strongest do survive
What is the battering

Cutting off their ears and tail
Done when some are alive
Its despicable behaviour
Why matadors survive
i do not know
They are very cruel
To what was a handsome beast
Brave and quite the warrior
But Not respected in the least

Spain calls it her culture
Its karma overdrawn
Hathor is inexplicably
Clearly and actually torn
From the gods most holy place
To peer down on them all
Being tortured and murdered
By basically a fool

Why they think so highly
Of what is murdering scum
With not an ounce of compassion
If he only had had some
The Bulls might get a fair report
But instead its all the way
Torture murder mutilation
And for that he gets big pay

When the bull strikes back
i always hope the matador
Really feels the weight behind the horns
And then I am sure
He suffers and as he suffers
Perhaps
His ignorant streak
Will manifest some empathy
But then again the freak

Will have been to bullfight school
And learned the art and all the rest
Being adored by the ladies
If he is the best
And this is what its all about
The contempt an ugliness
All I hope for the lot of them
Is they end up in mess
