The little dachshund

I do so love my Teddy
My protector and my friend
i like him in my bed with me
His cuddliness does send
Me back into sweet raptures
He is soft and never snores
I really love him with all my heart
And he is gentle on my paws

He never ever argues
He sits and smiles all day
Yes I am a german dog
A sausage dog some say
Originally My ancestors
From the forest climes they came
Amongst the trees were grizzly bears
Like my teddy just the same
Along with boars and other souls
Its the wild ones that are good
And so I sleep with Teddy
For I know I should

Out there in the forest
The bears all sleep alone
Many are shot by hunters
Yes I hear you groan
That is why I love him
He is an earthling just like me
And I will go to any length to protect him
Honestly

I so love him
