Loss

In the dawn of emotions
A loved one departs
An irredeemable forfeit
In all of our hearts
We question the reason
Why suffering came
And feel so bereft
As so many claim

Her journey was difficult
Though she did fight
We knew it was over
Her soul had took flight
Her beautiful countenance
Taken away
She was loved by so many
Who hoped she would stay

From her picture we know her
The gentlest of souls
She shared her emotion
We all have our roles
And she took hers bravely
We feel her tenderness
She was always smiling
Despite her stress

My heart I now share
With you all far away
It cuts very deeply
One thing to say
Its true angels come
For the shortest of while
Helping really now to reconcile

How she touched our hearts
For surely she did
She proved that with courage
It was a her bid
To help us to see
Beyond life and to know
She is safe she’s found peace
And an eternal glow
