A gentle and kind soul
Is a neighbour of mine
She has just had a baby
And that all went fine
But I hadn’t seen her
For a short time
So I asked her mother
And so this short rhyme
Is because her mum told me
That Helen had been
Under the weather
I suppose the routine
Of baby can lower your tendency to
Have some “me”time
I am sure that was true
And being unwell with it
That isn’t good
The years moving on fast
i suppose if she could
Get out and about
It would be better to try
But with baby and all
The work factors high
So her mum had arrived
With some goodies but she
Ought to think and rehydrate
Herself actually
cut down the sugary foods
For a while
And get some fresh air
Just to reconcile
Being home
With the blossoms
The warm flush of Spring
The flowers and the bluer skies
Starting to bring
Some extra colour some vibrance
And more
Into our lives
Says the bloke from next door
I hope you feel better soon Helen
