Imbolc a short play

G
I sprinkle these flowers. (Scatter flowers
For so many hours
For I am the goddess
With wonderful power
Rainbows and robins and
Blossoms for eyes
And so much warm light
Let it be your prize

w
So love her
Adore her
But never ignore her
I am old Winter
Long in the tooth
i would never ignore her
And that is the truth
Yes I am ancient
Yes I look white
But It may be a bug
That I picked up last night. (Give goddess seeds

GOddess
Do you like my patter
Its the seeds that I scatter
Praising their efforts
To bring us our crops
With the sun smiling brightly
And me walking lightly
And all of you growers
Pulling, out the stops

good bye Dear old winter
Good riddance I say
Slippery pavements
And burst pipes away
The ewes will be bursting
The lambs will be dry
I keep my hair red
Like the sun in the sky

farewell dearest Goddess
I guess I must go
To a far away place
Where theres plenty of snow
Just one more breath
Grant me it do
If I fall down here
You know it is true. (flowers from your robes

I will not get up again
Unlike the flowers
That you have been spreading
For so many hours
They will grow rapidly
With sun and warm rain
Until yule is here
And i come back again
