Existence in an immortal sense
we feel its latent power
What is their vast nirvana
A visionary of each hour
An intimate regard for life
Each opportunity
To interconnect
To reciprocate
And do so mutually
Its perhaps the human
Contrariness theres no antidote
Out there
Its full of inconsistencies
And chaos and despair
Unevenness and diversity
Changeful in the extreme
No semblance of a true response
So nothing to redeem
The Pachyderms responses
Are hard to quantify
A quantum leap into our dark
In a blink of their eye
The disparate regard to size
To the greatness of their scale
To the magnification that does exist
If literally all does fail
They are mountains on four legs
In fact
Astride perhaps our stream
An imperial example
Part of nan amazing team
Uncontrollably desiring
Of a peaceful place beyond
The pageant and the mayhem
If asked to respond
An inner peace is prevalent
To a swarming human crowd
With ligatures and massive chains
A yoke thats overpowered
As violence raises all our heads
And a whirlwind of a thought
Brings back a sudden memory
A derangement that had caught
Of bygone beatings bull hook rants
Of expletives by the score
Of arthritic legs worked over
From the maggots of Lahore
Of Kerala’s vile mahouts
On drunken raids of sin
Who beat into their bodies
And tore frantically through their skin
Sores became apparent festering and pain
Precursors of long feverish months
Spent painfully in the rain
The torment the conditioning
The frightful bouts of fear
The bullying the casualties
That all become more clear
The repetitiveness of daily chores
The monotony of mass
Unfathomable behaviour
A kind of sordid gas
That chokes them in seclusion
And is forever there
Like the bogeyman just waiting
To tear out lumps of hair
To threaten your existence
Your eventuality
To stir your inner feelings
And your destiny
A kind of inspiration
A cause we would have to say
Pivotal in a change of heart
Your chance to run away
To break the ties that bind you
And exert the strength you hold
The vigorousness you manifest
And the tension that is rolled
Up in one great mighty surge
To take back what is yours
To trample on those mahouts
For in essence they were the cause
They just got over confident
Their arrogance away
With all the foreign fairies
That dance their night away
They bull hooked you too many times
They energised your stress
They over did their beatings
And never could confess
They sabotaged their chances
Their downfall was their own
They reached into catastrophe
With those bad seeds they had sown
Subverting all our trust in them
And allowing us to be
Rising like a tempest
To be unbelievably
Out if it beyond the pale
Carrying such weight
The straw that broke the camels back
Has broken ours our fate
Indian processions
All drums and pipes and more
The over exited people
Like armies from before
The drapes and silks and roughness
That is strapped around us, we
Can crack it all comes back
And we run remarkably
Out to kill Those mahouts
Each mouse like ragged doll
Who from behind can blow our mind
With a bull hook through our soul
Shake those bloody riders off
Crush their miserable bones
Toss them through oblivion
And listen to their moans
Remember each and every one
Who ever was unkind
Who ever raised a bull hook
And whipped you from behind
Tread down heavily on their bodies
Reward them for their sin
They were Fucking awful to you
Now that you can pin
Them
Down go do it squash them
Let them feel each whack
Grind their bones to dust
Make each true attack
As painful and as fatal
As all those years of woe
You took it with a trumpet
And now of course they know
Nobody is innocent all lining the route
By their actually being there
They support it at their root
By their real complacency
Unwilling to join the throng
Of activists the AR crowd
Who all know just how wrong
The public are and the rest of them
The robots in the street
So go among them and batter them
Wake them up greet
Their selfishness their evil
Temple swigging sods
Who take their miserable offerings
And present them to their gods
