Good fellows three

Standing on chairs
With an extra chair left
Empty,for anonymous thus not bereft
To also stand there
And speak if they choose
Or just stand in line
Head high hand on heart
With nothing to lose

On all four citizens
Of global time
Global surveillance
Its purgatorial climb
Into our sinew into our heart
The lies that led to war
That were the start

Of a heartfelt rebellion
The earthlings embrace
Humanity stared out
High into space
Through the clouds of sophistry
Demanding to hear
The truth of each moment
In everyones ear

Such courage displayed by them
An equality
Of justice regarded to infinity
A greatness of spirit
And abundance of power
From 3 stalwart seeds
Climbing into each hour

Transcending the struggle
And supremacy
Maximising the effort
The will to break free
From the bonds of resentment
The invisible chains
An art form where splendour
Is held by the reins

It would have been easy to gallop
Away
To diminish the impact
With an overlay
Something modernistic
But what we now see
Is 3 life size statues
Of the famous three

The challenge was immense
The struggle was long
Alone in the studio
Engaging the throng
Working creating the form
And the art
Creating the likeness
With hand upon heart

The mutual display
The perpetual thoughts
The innumerable way
With boundless excitement
The whole work did play

Imagination time bound it be
A perpetuation and immortality
For here stands a monument
Of due consent
What they have done
Though their freedom
Was spent

Was rise to the heights
That all earthlings can rise
Have their arms aloft
When they reach to the skies
The art the occasion
And really just how
The truth that is paramount
Is for the now

Rome its great history
Drawn through the soul
