Cruelty orchestrated by arrogance

Confinement for Orca’s
Is based around ways
Of restraining and changing
And creating strays

Its incarceration
Its repressively so
With steel gates
That impound
Which the public
Don’t know

Its a curfew of sorts
Subjugation as well
And the the Orca’s
Align this to something
Like Hell

Enclosed in a smaller tank
Perhaps overnight
In complete darkness
These creatures of light

Sea World is evil
A dark force indeed
A corporate keeper
Who wants to succeed

Who gives off an energy
Of knowledge and power
But its punishing victims
More so each hour

The frustration explodes
In them
They try to bite
Through the steel entrapment
Try to gain flight

With imagination
Each Orca may fly
Through the ocean again
Its there in each eye

But actually tragically
What this is about
Is the Orca’s break teeth
A turmoil a rout

And this causes cavities
Where dead fish pulp piles
Tooth flushing happens
Each time it defiles

It cuts through the freedom
They once had to choose
Not to eat anything dead
Its a ruse

They need the life force
Not the carrion way
They are designed to hunt
Fresh food
That is, why they pay

Such a high price
To be contained and made
To perform in a puddle
The pressure thats laid

Firmly upon them
Is of ugly desire
Sea World again
Let them burn in their fire

Orca’s have intelligence
They can see through
The lies and the squalor
What Sea World do

They feel the emotion
The only support
They get is cosmetic
And of course they feel bought

As decay is apparent
Mortality grows
They are complex beings
Their cry for help shows

Their fin at half mast
Its a sign its a cry
That they want us to act
But we believe the lie

25per cent of Orca’s
Do show
this fin adjustment
Its something to know
In the wild it won’t happen
Again Sea World lies
To protect their margin
And out talk the wise

Taken from their pups
A mother will go
To great lengths to be with them
As deep down we know
As mothers if our child was taken away
We would be fighting
And might have to pay

Orca’s don”t only break teeth
Some do
Injure their faces
Its abundantly true
Sea World tells lies
Puffs on and on
Making excuses
Its one great big con

But its all in the background
What their public can’t see
And what they don’t know about
Well! Cannot be
A problem for Sea World
The brainwashing team
Iron out the creases
And create the dream

Its the victims that look
With their huge sunken eyes
When you see them look back
It just defies

Anyone really with an inspired feel
The thinkers they know deep down
It is real
Its pure desolation and mournfulness
A great wail of woe
That they cannot redress

Its almost an elegy
a requiem for
The life they have lost
All those years before

So tiresome so irksome
The weariness grows
The monotonous sameness
What that does pose

To the gifted the light minded
Spirits who ply
In the great depth of ocean
That dance with the sky

Sea World enforces
The drabness of old
The prosaic sluggishness
Which is now sold
To the victims the Orca’s
As paradise time
In their tanks of soup
Degraded to slime

Look into their eyes
And what do we see
A great panorama
A vast open sea
A hope beyond all of this
Reality
To a paradise far far away
Where they be
