Nami and Taiji Japan

An Orca they called “nami”
Which actually means wave
She lived alone for seven years
Who nobody thought to save

Driven from the ocean
Her spirit they did kill
Taiji is a wicked place
Where sea breezes do chill

They have made a natural habitat
A reserve there so they say
But in fact it is a killing cove
So those lies I must allay

Its all barbed wire and evil
A dark and wicked place
Where cetaceans are imprisoned
And treated without grace

Its where culture and compassion
Fight it out, where we
See the glorious Pacific
Drenched in secrecy

Tarpaulins stretch across
To hide the murdering phase
Its when the dolphins are driven
Its when pithing and torture plays

A part in all this evil
And NAMI as we know
Perished in the town
Because Her agony did grow

The Ocean was her natural home
But the Japanese deceive
The world at large with their camouflage
Saying they did achieve

The training and the science
Research the keywords they
Use as well in whaling
Which is killing anyway

NAMI was sad and so depressed
A prisoner in fear
She knew nobody loved her
For me that was so clear

Her routine was to eat rocks
And when she died eventually
She had 180 pounds of rocks inside
Her actually

491 of them in her stomach
Now you see
Thats really how she killed herself
How else could she be

Trying to tell us how much pain
She was going through
With ulcers in her stomach
And Her poor spleen bleeding too

She had inflamed intestines
What Taiji had done
Was neglect a precious ocean soul
A female on the run

Her life though going no where
When pneumonia set in
This story is so tragic
It really is a sin

And we all looked on
Our hands tied
No nothing we could do
We protest at the embassy
But most don’t have a clue

What the Japanese are doing
How they torture as they do
This poor soul just a victim
Soon forgotten perhaps by YOU

But every soul that Perishes
Is loved by someone they
Have family in the ocean
Who mourn for them each day

Its an ugly scene so woeful
What these dolphin drives now do
To the ocean to the family
And to folk like me and you

All I can do is protest
And commit them all to rhyme
I cannot go out to Japan
And sink their boats
This time

i cannot fight the fishermen
My ninja tendency
Is lost now in my youth alas
But they will not stop me

Protesting in Piccadily
On Face book and twitter where
At least communication
Helps other souls to share

Anonymous and others
Who have the where for all
To give these shits a kicking
Before more have to fall

To the Taiji rotters
To the aqua parks abroad
The likes of Sea World
Whose coffers are bursting
Where they have hurled

Many innocent dolphins
Made them into circus clowns
For the sicko human audiences
From many different towns

Who converge on all these
Aqua parks
imagining they will see
Wonders really miracles
When really honestly

They are providing corporates
With such enormous wealth
Whilst the victims thats the cetaceans
Are just losing their health

Kept in tanks of concrete
Fed on dead fish they
Have nothing of the ocean
Or the families social sway

Everything is lost for them
So the corporate can make
A fortune and the shareholders
And from the victims they just take

Their lives their social contact
Their instinctive way of life
And turn it into melancholia
And of course abject strife

Orca’s dolphins porpoises
Lost souls let me say
And many of them end up
In the cove at Taiji Bay

Or in some arab hotel
Sold for a load of bucks
By these fisherman of Taiji
And the whole damn business SUCKs
