Fur coats

Did the Queen have to wear
The dead skin of those who
Were trapped and slaughtered needlessly
Many of them too
They say she has worn it 50 years
But sadly needed still
To wear up at Sandringham
To fight off winters chill

Its exceptionally poor judgement
On her account I’d say
Dead bodies around ones body
Are not the order of the day
They are crude and for the
ignorant
Not our monarch seemingly
Who quickly changed into a red coat
Blood red too it be

All the blood from the animals
Spilled though long ago
Reminds us that so many lost their lives
To throw
A great coat on her body
And believe its the thing to do
I think she was told to take it off
Which of course she did do.

It makes no sense in this day and age
To murder animals and
Keep wild souls in cages
I do not understand
The real lack of emotion
The pitiless display
Of a so called Queen wearing animal skins
As she goes on her way

By now she should realise
Animals have to be
Protected from the likes of her
The illustrious who see
An opportunity out there
For hundreds to be killed
Tortured all their miserable lives
Till their blood is spilled
