Delilah’s travels

The artist within us
Bleeds on the canvas
Soaks up the pigment
That Dawn spreads before
All kinds of colours of
Limitless beauty
In the land of the FAE
In a cave at the core

Where the Maine Coon sit happily
Silvery ice plants are melting away
On dear Delilah’s toads stolic throne
On the boughs of the Rowan
Hail slashing all ways
There sits Delilah always alone!

Nymphs tied securely
In chain link their wonderment
Gossamer threads hanging down
To the ground
Subterranean passages
Lead to the castle
Fathomless lakes
Where theres hardly a sound

She moves like the mist
Enraging the senses
Angelic antics
A softer refrain
Stealthily her progress
Through each dimension
Radiates starlight
In the falling rain
Its where she belongs
And its so far away

Through myriad time zones
Into each day
Where spiders emerge
And weave their webs freely
Delilah exceptional queen of the fae

Comes back like lightening
And stretches the motion
Now there is light
LED’s, sensors too
She can avoid them
And she does so sometimes
Delilah is privy and knows
Its all true

Loves to be dried
In a bountiful kitchen
Loves all the treats
Thats she gets everyday
But has to go back to the FAE
Castle village
She has to go back there
And thats come what may
