Yellow delta zoo in Dong Ying China

It opened very recently in Dong Ying
And Its thrust
But lets consider what they are doing
Which fills me with disgust
Its of course their lack of humility
And empathy for life
They see animals as a commodity
And won’t realise their strife
Brought about by captivity
They will not see this, they
Are being instructed themselves of course
And so they do this anyway

It is a school for performing arts
Its students monkeys and they
Are the Japanese snow monkeys
Who live quite far away
High in the alps amongst the ice and snow
Wild souls who do
Use the geothermal pools
To bathe in which is true

They are immensely intelligent
In their matriachal state
The opposite of the human tribe
And probably more sedate
In Japan they live in sanctuaries
As well being free
And come down to the geo thermal springs
Quite regularly

Zoo’s are filled with corporates
These days the mindless souls
Where its not about the animals
Its money budgets and goals
China takes on the teaching
Chaining them inside
A school for performing monkeys
They advertise with pride

And whats it all about one asks
When they have been taught
To send them all around the place
To circus ah I thought
So it really is no different
From the dolphins at Taiji
Capture them teach them tricks
And sell them on, can we
Exploit wild creatures as we do
For our own ends in fact
For me its purely slavery
Nothings left intact

The Japanese are more sensible
They built a sanctuary close to
A geothermal spring where tourists
Also do
Come to watch the monkeys
Who adapt well to the scene
They are not chained up in some zoo
They can go the mean machine
Is not it seems as exploitative
Its more sensible to see
Monkeys living in the wild
In their sanctuary

But China seems to have got it wrong
To me at least for I
Hate to see the circus with wild animals in
They die
Inside performing stupid tricks
For even more stupid souls
Human beings we call them
But more akin to trolls

When humans fail to realise
Animals have rights
We must never make them slaves
Or victims for that invites
A complete lack of empathy
A disturbing lack of soul
We curtail their lives completely
And we, take on the role

Of master or their trainer or their
Leader we control
They are our slaves our cash cows
Which shows me thats the goal
Its nothing about the animals
Its disregard their right
And only think of the profit
Not one prophet in sight
