Taiji red cove day 17/20 Risso’s

The cove runs red
With so many dead
And me here sleeping in my bed
The Risso’s dragged like sacks of coal
By the fishermen who lack all soul
All dragged backwards by their tails
Leaking blood as all else fails
Taiji shows its ugliest face
To what is the human race

The ingratitude of Natures thought
The severity of how they sport
Victims the innocent dolphins who
Were just now swimming good and true
But now the drive is underway
Driven mercilessly into the bay
Unpitying unconsoling creeps
japan is killing as the world sleeps

I hear their cries we all do here
On their faces so much fear
Sick already with mercury
And now Slaughtered in the sea
They have no pity none at all
Its relentless callousness a call
Each dolphins screaming can you hear
As the victims do appear

Broken bodies torn a’sunder
Towed along and all dragged under
Eyes closed tightly hearts on fire
The situation there is dire
In my bed I can no longer stay
I have to write now right away
Those dolphins need us on their side
Our love must never be denied

What Taiji does we know is wrong
To the human race they do not belong
They are an, abnormality
That has no place anywhere near me
Yet we experience the bloody nights
We have to endure the awful sights
Trying to put the world to rights
Out there in sick Taiji

We have a duty where ere we be
To fight these bastards of Taiji
Their shame is our shame if we say
There is nothing we can do today
We have to get up and just shout
Tell the world what its about
Our dolphins friends are being killed
In the cove their blood is being spilled
As I write I can feel their pain
Its all happening again
Innocent souls are put to death
Each of them gives up its breath

Contemptuous ruffians of Taiji
We despise you actually
Flouting your authority
From your sick place on the sea
We now protest everywhere
Our indignation fills the air
Shame shame shame on Japan
The world at large is not a fan

You are seen as pariahs everywhere
Spreading your darkness and despair
On the sea and everywhere
A people who just do not care
For innocence and friends who ply
Your coastal waters and who die
Because of you and your selfish way
