Light and sound

Some seem flabbergasted by the world wide
Internet
It has changed our lives in many many ways
And Computers in just fifty years
Have leapt into the future
Supposedly the new digital phase

New languages are coming into being
Evolving from the games we introduced
Binary suggestion was seemingly the question
And in our teaching places they produced
A kind of layered learning with questions
Kind of turning
Convention on its head but far behind
Others in far off galaxies
Where speed of light is commonplace
And travelling in space is with the mind
Lets go back to Ptolemy and try to understand
His knowledge of the planets his codifications were
Far more advanced than many now
But few of us are asking how
And even less around in fact concur
