Marketing the corporate message
Often in plain sight
Take the shrink wrapped crabs
We see
And know this isn’t right
Ignorance of how a crab breathes
Clearly it shows here
When taking aquatic creatures
From their realm
It does appear
The marketing guru’s
Err
They err because their
Soul urge to
Make a profit
At another’s expense
Is what they have to do
They have no true ideas themselves
And fall down on their blade
And this. This marketing terror
This way to increase trade
Has shown them up to be what they
Are ignorant heartless fools
Who sacrifice another
Who frantically now drools
Within its shrunk wrapped packaging
It slowly dies and draws
Its oxygen from somewhere
But there is no applause
The crabs gills will collapse soon
Their tears remain unseen
By the buying public
And the processors
Who are really as mean
Their arrogance and their ignorance
Encourages this pain
Selling live crabs
Dying slowly life for them in vain
And despite the creative splendour
The corporate machine
Is actively now killing
The beauty that once had been
As to the supermarket
That has agreed to sell
Such evil and such ignorance
Of life and what that does tell
Is a simple fact that corporates
Think nothing for the world
All they see is profit
The perfect truth unfurled
