A dog killed at home for the pot in Viet Nam

It was done in the home
The children in tow
Watching it happen
3 men on show
A dog they are tying its jaws up
And they
Hold it up by its neck
Just making it pay

And look into its eyes
And just feel all its fear
Startled by such a botched job
It is clear
This poor dog is suffering
So much desPair
Hanging around and feeling aware

You feel for the victim
The children who be
Just looking on
And us who can see
An innocent animal
Loyal to the end
Repaid by these vile sods
Nobody’s friend

Somebody’s brother
Maybe a dad
Maybe a lover
Isn’t this sad
In the family home
With the children around
The pet dog has now got its legs
Off the ground

Look at them
Really dark ghouls never men
Once they were human
But goddess knows when
Laughing and smirking
Showing how it is done
The fear factor terrible
i just want none

Of this in my psyche
But since I must write
I have to watch it
Now in plain sight
Arn’t they all tough guys
Three onto one
The wok on the tiles
What had that dog done?

To deserve this vile treatment
Nothing at all
Its being strangled
They are killing
And the wall
of the house
And the little boy is standing there
This a long torture
The poor soul so aware

Of what is to happen
You can just feel
As it is manhandled
Its horribly real
And what happens next
Its cut in half and
Cooked for their dinner
Who can understand

These home trained butchers
These murdering scum
Its a terrible video
They are all dumb
Down into oblivion
And they should be
Carted to jail
Immediately

The poor German Shepherd
Suffered so much
The lead up the tying
They were so out of touch
They were Not sentient
They were just trolls
Evils murdering scum without souls
And all of The while it was video’d too
Vietnam I have to say
I just hate what you do

Whatever happened during the war
Now its not happening
So whats all this for
This awful process
Is done without heart
Perpetrators they all need
Jail time for a start
Its terrible cruelty
And Vietnam
Should not be allowing
Such terrible harm
