Its a murky old world
Where the animals be
Always the losers
So humans can see
A profit
For all of the strands in the field
Thats when man un kind
Is going to wield
His big stick and arrogance
Then to be sure
Its the State Regulators
Who then can’t ignore

How the mechanics
Are spread far and wide
Just what is happening
On the outside
Live baiting was banned ages ago
Its a criminal offence
That most people know

But there’s big money changing hands on
Every race
And reality shows us
We all have to face
Some criminality
It is out there
If its not policed
It can taint everywhere

Everyone everything
Its a very cruel trait
Live Rabbits Live Possums
Even piglets of late
4 corners is airing
It did so before
There’s no smoke without fire
So we can expect more

Revelations to surface
And hopefully they
Might see some new light
Shone on it anyway

Personally I hate the gambling game
For me using animals it does inflame
My senses I know they are victims
And we
Should never allow this
But that is the key
Huge chunks of money
Can be won overnight
And getting to grips with all that
Is a fight

Where the victims are the voiceless
What chance do they
Have in this world
It seems theres no way
For out in the shadows
Things happen they do
And its hard to find out really
Just what is true

Its a murky old world
This gambling game
Its been like it for ages
And its about the same
Training up animals
Purely to race
For me anyway
Is a bloody disgrace
