Traditional Britain
Red coated whip clutching
White jhodpur louts
Their ladies in black coats
Hounds bold and ready
To chase a poor fox
Did you have any doubts
The stockbrokers up on
His mare of convenience
Thinking he is somebody
Greater than thee
We stand as they glare at us
Seemingly gentry
Bent on the death of the fox
Tragically
The masters of the hunt
Now say they believe
The Hunting Act
Must be repealed
To achieve
All that is right
In our country today
Where the poor working class
Will primarily pay
Where morality left
Many years hence
And where so many MP’s
Now sit on the fence
Biting their nails
And picking their ears
And for sure are not seen
To lose any tears
Over Brer fox our buddy
All that they see is the law
Enacted by Labour
And One they deplore
The animal activists
Now in the street
With their megaphones blazing
Hoping to unseat
The Cameron babes
And make them all see
That compassion is important
For it now has to be
In the hearts and the minds
Of those lovers of night
The true forest dwellers
On their nocturnal flight
Of fancy for all of them
The wild foxes who
Make great contributions
To the countryside too
