Lets be a fox

Lets be a fox
Lets feel their pain
Chased around
Again and again

Always threatened
Never left
To live the life
Of one not bereft

Outside. Downing Street Today
Up against the bars like prey
Police and guards were installed there
With masks and rattles and despair

Many deep all ages there
Giving it welly
Trying to share
With David Cameron
How they feel
To even talk of the repeal

To even imagine such a course
A statutory instrument
By way of force

Lets be a fox
Lets feel the pain
And know ones life is so in vain
For Cameron thinks its only right
To hunt wild animals
Out of sight

All the ranting in the air
Showed them really how much we care
We all care all of us now here
Sharing the energy and the fear
Foxes deserve a better deal
Not chased to their deaths
With out appeal
The hunters do not deserve to be
Killing wild animals
Born to be free
This protest comes as a heart felt cry
Everyone of us wonders why
Cameron and the countryside
Still take killing in their stride
The whole signifiant ecology
Depends on fixes actually
And every other wild soul there
Born to live and born to share
