Pocho

Steely grey and olive green
A jaggedness saw edged mean machine
Pitted armour a wrinkled plate
Bone breaking teeth to score ones fate
Great big so all seeing eyes
Helping us to realise
The significance of this ancient breed
As The crocodile just does succeed

The fantasy of motion there
The quiescent slumber made aware
The leaden surface powder grey
Dappled with the light of day
And a certain blindness
We might see

A Fallacy
Avisionary

With Massive jaws
And teeth to match
All Palpable an amazing match
Uneven really one can say
Just with one sweep take in the bay
A thoughtlessness considered by
Those that perhaps went eye to eye
Seeing the virtuality
And what was the possibility

Pocho 16 feet of soul
Significantly on a roll
Discovering serendipity
And inventing ways to just be free
A sage of sorts a sobriety
A prophet and a luminary
Hiding in a protective shield
And masquerading off the field

Tarzan Chico dids’t affirm
Made his challenge
Then long term
Set down rules
Bore witness too
Each learning stage
With what to do

A teacher really if you think
Recording events
Now on the brink
A charity nod nod wink wink
The true directness
And transparency
Ones conciseness and brevity

Sleeps on the porch
Rests by day
Gets out of the sun
And finds his way
To the door awaiting
Chico’s ring
With all the gifts that this
Does bring

A Son in fact the family do
Accept his presence good and true
And Chico swims with him everyday
Causing onlookers much dismay
Costa Rica clearly does
Give travellers there a real buzz
So many forests packed full of souls
A truthful drama playing out roles
Few believe what rPoncho can do
But all of this is really true
