Morrisey

Conviction it is paramount
And Morrisey can say
Any gig I am doing
I have to be au fait
With it the wretched putridness
Of burgers from some cow
Or spare ribs from such
Murdered pig
They must not ever over power

My senses as a vegan
I expect an honourable place
Not roasted corpses being eaten
And shoved in my face
My beliefs are my beliefs
And if the audience comes to me
And expects I Entertain them
Then it’s only right to be

Following my ethic
Not going against the grain
Not joining up with the carnivores
Part of the insane
Troubadours who turn away
As my friends the animals die
In wanton disregard for life
Bloodied as they lie

Madison Square Garden
Has agreed to not serve meat
The dead flesh of all animals
That some feel is their treat
The t bones and the fillet
The offal and the brain
Morrisey the gentleman
With ethical disdain
For the ugly and the awful
For the killing and the threat
For the contemptible behaviour
Of the corpse scoffing set

I agree with Morrisey
That logic is his power
He is not a two faced liar
He above all of them does tower
Reflecting on his preparedness
To honour his regard
To walk his talk
To be the one
So respected by this bard
